Seminar - Recycled Concrete and Concrete

March 25, 2024

Asphalt and concrete are 100% recyclable and can be reused as valuable construction material. Recycled Crushed Aggregate (RCA) is a sustainable product that offers some of the greatest environmental benefits at a lower cost. The Ontario Ministry of Transportation has been an early adopter and leader since the 1970s, currently using 10-12 million tones per year in the construction and maintenance of its 400-series highways.

The Toronto Area Road Builders Association (TARBA) is hosting a free technical seminar about RCA on Tuesday, April 16th from 9am to 12:30pm at 5045 Orbitor Drive, Unit 12, Suite 300 in Mississauga.

Participants will learn more about RCA’s high-performance and geotechnical properties, variety of applications in the construction of linear infrastructure projects, and compelling environmental and economic benefits.
