As part of the OPS initiative to relocate (renumber) several specifications within OPS volume 1, I am asking for your assistance in ensuring OPS users are made aware of the initiative.

As you know, three divisions in OPS Volume 1 are being reallocated, 29 specifications are being relocated to these divisions, and 40 specifications are having their references to the relocated specifications revised. More information is available under News and Activities on the OPS website www.ops.on.ca.

Attached is a flyer advertising the fact that the initiative will be implemented with November 2010 publication and how to obtain more information. Would you please distribute the flyer to the members of your organization through your newsletter, email system, and/or website so they can be kept apprised of the initiative?

All Owners, Contractors, and consultants working with the Ontario Provincial Standards will be affected in some way by this initiative, so it is important to ensure they are informed of the pending changes.
