MEA Committee Volunteer Survey

The MEA is conducting a short survey to collect information from current and past MEA committee members. This information will assist the MEA in managing the various MEA committees and to update information in our database.

If you currently are or previously have volunteered with MEA in a committee, we would respectively request that you complete the survey – it will only take 5-10 minutes of your time.  Your input would be greatly appreciated.  We ask that you please complete the survey by no later than July 31, 2019.

MEA COMMITTEE VACANCIES

The MEA has over 30 committees that members can participate in and share their knowledge and expertise.  The following MEA Committees currently have a vacancy that we are seeking volunteers for:

OPS Traffic Safety Committee

The committee is responsible for the development and revision of OPS specifications and drawings that pertain to guide rail systems, energy attenuators, pavement markings, winter sanding and salting, anti-glare screens, traffic control signing, highway and chain link fence, hand rail and splash guards, and delineation.

There is currently one vacancy in this committee. If you are interested, please submit your resume or brief bio by July 26, 2019 to amin.mneina@municipalengineers.on.ca  .


OPS Watermains Committee

Committee members contribute in the review of OPS Specifications and Standards related in the design and construction of watermains, appurtenances and related pressure systems (i.e. forcemains).   

There is currently one vacancy in this committee. If you are interested, please submit your resume or brief bio by August 2019 to amin.mneina@municipalengineers.on.ca .
